The transformation of the old Batley and Dewsbury Magistrates Courts building in Dewsbury Town Centre, into Wedding and Conference Suites, is almost complete as an unrivalled level of luxury and facilities prepares to open in Kirklees.
The Courts Banqueting & Conference Suites are the perfect destination for your wedding, boasting a number of suites which can cater for all events, from small gatherings through to large celebrations.
With stylish interior, entwined with classic Asian traditions, it is the ideal venue to host your big day.
Experienced wedding co-ordinators are available in-house and specialise in designing, managing and delivering events to suit individual requirements, no matter what the budget, size or theme.
From the minute you arrive at The Courts, you and your guests will be blown away by the extensive range on offer.
The outside Courtyard provides the perfect location for photographs, and has stunning features including a fountain and gazebo, giving rise to many other picture opportunities.
The Reception areas also provide perfect opportunities for guests to mingle and have refreshments served, prior to moving into the chosen Wedding Suite.
If you need a moment to relax during your wedding day, then head to the Bridal Suite, a place to unwind, freshen up or simply grab a few moments alone.
All the Suites include:-
- State of the art audio and visual technology (including plasma TV screens)
- Free Wi-Fi
- An adaptable stage and lighting
- A choice of seat covers, table decorations and floral displays
- Classic wedding or bespoke menus
There are also excellent disabled facilities (including lifts to all floors) at The Courts. Management make it their business to ensure that everyone feels at home.
It is possible to offer separate rooms for ladies and gentlemen, whilst a private prayer room is available.
Crown Suite
The first wedding suite, completed in October 2015, The Crown Suite is suitable for up to 470 guests.
The Suite offers all the features you would expect from a premium venue, including a number of stage and stage decor options, flower showers, a lit walkway, sound and lighting equipment.
You can choose from a number of wedding packages on offer and then add to this from an extensive number of optional add-ons, to make your special day is unique.
Her Majesty’s Suite
A larger wedding suite, due to be completed in December 2015, Her Majesty’s Suite is suitable for up to 1,000 guests. A Mehndi Suite will also be available by the same date.
Executive, Party, Conference and Bridal Suites will all be completed by the beginning of May 2016.
