Maybe it’s because the restaurant equally caters to both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike? Sure, it’s a steak house but those vegetarian Thali’s are to die for, especially as the Tandoori Roti bread that arrives alongside three curries has the consistency of fluffy clouds, becoming the perfect mopper-upper of heavenly sauces which explode with a punch of spice.


And blowing the top off the lot, like the eruption of Mount Vesuvius itself, are the steaks. Entering as rib-eye royalty upon a scorching hot volcanic rock, the marbled main event makes its way proudly through the restaurant to the lucky diner’s table in a slab of sizzling style.

Moghul’s manager, Ishtiaq Ahmed, said: “What’s unique about us is the fact we serve up medallions of all of the juiciest cuts of 28-day-aged meat – from rump to fillet steak – and present them on 400 degree stones. This allows you to cook the steak to your own liking.”
