For years we loved Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s inimitable style of romancing on-screen, charming with his flattering words or wooing women with his impeccable style in copious romantic flicks.
Though it’s pretty habitual seeing him sporting beards, surma (eyeliner) and dhoti, we were pleasantly surprised to see a fresh invention of character in his lately released ‘Raees’ teaser.
Right from the opening shot with his voiceover to the introduction of his character to the way he carries himself throughout the teaser, Shah Rukh Khan is a total revelation.
Though we have seen the superstar essaying negative roles, in the beginning of ‘Raees’ it seems to be a completely different outing for SRK.
Not only his look but the kind of role Shah Rukh plays in the film is a never-seen before one.
It looks like that with this film the other King Khan is all set to reinvent himself and explore an untrodden path. Will we be treated to witness an unseen side of SRK?
Directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Excel Entertainment, ‘Raees’ also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Farhan Akhtar. The film is set in 80s and SRK plays a Gujarati don. It is expected to be completed in time for Eid 2016. Salman Khan – watch out!!!
