salma agha (300x450)The nostalgic haunting voice of classic songs like ‘Dil ke armaan’ and ‘Fiza bhi hai’ will soon be heard again.

The mesmerisingly beautiful Pakistani vocalist Salma Agha, who last sang for a Bollywood film in 1994, has now sung for the first Indian Norwegian collaboration film ‘Dunno Y 2… Life Is A Moment’. It is a sequel of internationally acclaimed ‘Dunno Y… Na Jaane Kyun’ which won ten international awards.

Salma Agha, who is extremely choosy in singing for films, agreed to sing in this film only on the condition that the music and the lyrics of the song should touch her heart. When she heard the song she instantly felt it touched her soul.

This song is a Sufi Ghazal, “Aaina haseen hua hai, ishq aye ashshaah mein, tere hone ki aas mein”…with a Pakistani flair and is filmed with Kapil Sharma, Yuvraaj Parashar and Pakistani actress Sadia Khan.
The film also stars Zeenat Aman, Pakistani actress Meera and European actors. Nikhil Kamath has composed the song and lyrics are by Vimal Kashyap.

‘Dunno Y 2… Life Is A Moment’ has a mix of Indian and European singers and composers. It is directed by Norwegian director Tonje Gjevjon and Indian director Sanjay Sharma.

The sequel is a musical romantic comedy and is in three languages Hindi, English and Norwegian. Recently it premiered at one of the world’s most prestigious venues the Opera House of Oslo. It received a warm reception from the audience and got positive reviews from critics. The premiere was attended by top politicians and famous actors of Norway.
