“Generally, girls are judged on the life they live, the clothes they wear,” adds Gizele. All these rules are created by some old men with a superiority complex…”
Gizele Thakral, who was seen in a sexy avatar in films like 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' and 'Mastizaade' speaks about her opinion on girls being judged for the outfits they wear or the lifestyle they choose. The actress also shares her opinion on the film 'Pink.'
“Why do men think a woman, who wears a hot dress, is wearing for them or inviting them.
“Our society is hypocrite, that's why we don't chill at our beaches and even if we do, we prefer track pants and t shirts. In small cities it's worse (I hail from one myself)."
"Women should teach their sons to respect women.
“We are a democratic society and we should feel free to wear whatever we want and to be able to walk without fearing that someone might molest us.
“Being a woman can be very scary at times especially when you have to live in small cities," she added.
“Generally, girls are judged on the life they live, the clothes they wear,” adds Gizele.
"All these rules are created by some old men with a superiority complex and they impose those rules on women.
And some women who think men are superior, take that as orders and start believing it and imposing and passing the same to their children.
“I hate hypocrisy. We are independent so why do we still have to be slaves to society norms created by people with a sick mentality. Live your life the way you want to without hurting anyone's sentiments."
"There has to be a limit. But don't live in the fear of 'Log Kya Kahenge', even if you obey everything people will still point out and criticise you. Believe in yourself and fear from God, respect your parents, that's all that matters," she concluded.
