The makers of Chand Mera Dil have unveiled Phir Ajnabi, a soul-stirring melody that captures the bittersweet pain of two people slowly becoming strangers despite the love they once shared. Featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, the song beautifully portrays the emotional distance that grows between two hearts, brought to life through intimate visuals and poignant storytelling.
Phir Ajnabi is composed by the celebrated duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Elevated by emotionally rich vocals and a hauntingly tender arrangement, the track explores themes of longing, heartbreak, and fading connection, making it one of the album’s most emotionally resonant offerings yet.
Director Vivek Soni brings this emotional chapter to life through understated yet moving visuals, while Ananya Panday and Lakshya deliver heartfelt performances that mirror the vulnerability and emotional complexity of the song.
With Phir Ajnabi, Chand Mera Dil continues to build a soundtrack that explores the many shades of love – from its tender beginnings to its most painful moments of separation.
Presented by Dharma Productions, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film is now out in cinemas.
