Bingley’s historic Damart Mill has been transformed into a magical indoor adventure playground as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
From 14 October to 30 November 2025, families can step into REPLAY – an extraordinary play space built entirely from recycled materials by The Herd Theatre, designed to spark imagination and joy for children under 11 and their families.
Part art installation and part playground, REPLAY invites children to explore, climb, and create in a world made from repurposed objects and recycled sounds.
The 60-minute sessions are available to book throughout autumn, including half term, weekends, and after-school times. Special sessions are also offered for early years (aged six months to five), home-educated children, and local schools.
The installation is part of the Bradford 2025 PLAY Programme, a series of creative projects encouraging children to engage with art, storytelling, and design.

Previous highlights have included Grue – a cardboard wonderland created by artist Steven Wintercroft and ARCADE – The Great Adventure Build with Woodland Tribe, and the RedBall Project by Kurt Perschke.
This autumn, PLAY continues to grow through initiatives like Intergenerational Play, linking primary school pupils with older adults in care homes to build understanding and reduce loneliness through storytelling and creativity.
Other upcoming projects include science-based play labs, inclusive design challenges, and storytelling workshops across Bradford’s schools.
“REPLAY is more than a playground – it’s a space for imagination and connection,” said Rhiannon Hannon, Director of Creative Engagement at Bradford 2025. “It captures everything our PLAY programme stands for.”
Jeanette Howard-Jones, Co-Managing Director at Damart, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome the community to Bowling Green Mills and be part of this inspiring celebration of creativity.”
