Bradford District Care Trust’s Better Lives charity Fundraising Officer, Helen Verity with Jas Athwal and his winning team from last year’s golf day

In celebration of the NHS 75th birthday, Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust’s charity, Better Lives, is inviting local people and companies from Bradford, Wharfedale, Airedale and Craven to sign up to their annual charity golf day.

The event, sponsored by Yorkshire Clinic will be held on Friday 7th July at Shipley Golf Club, for 18 holes of golf.

The winning team captain from last year, Jas Athwal, said: “It is a fabulous event, on a great golf course, and a wonderful opportunity to raise vital funds for our local NHS mental health charity.

“The NHS celebrates its 75th birthday this July, what a fantastic way to support and celebrate the amazing occasion by getting involved, bringing a team along and playing a round of golf.”

The format for the day will be four-person teams, two from four Stableford with tee off times between 9am-1.30pm. The price per team is £220 and all funds raised will be used to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of our patients, service users and carers.

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust have proudly supported all communities for over 20 years, and the Better Lives charity supports this by raising funds to enhance patient care and go over and above the core services offered.
