The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Zafar Ali is inviting everyone to join him for this year's Annual Carol Service for the City.

The special carol service will take place at Bradford Cathedral on Monday 17 December at 6pm.

The Very Reverend Jerry Lepine, The Dean of Bradford, will be leading the service.

Carols and hymns will be sung by the Bradford Cathedral Choir, with other music being provided by The City of Bradford Brass Band.

The service is free and open to everyone. There will be a collection to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and Bradford Cathedral.

It is traditionally attended by civic and business leaders from across the city, as well as students back for the holidays and city workers before they go home for the evening. Come early to be sure of a seat!

Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm before the service in the Cathedral.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford Coun Zafar Ali said: "I am really looking forward to this year’s Carol Service and would like people from across the district to join me as we get into the festive spirit."
