In a bid to give their shoppers a treat, Abu Baker supermarkets arranged for Dubai rich kid Rashed Belhasa AKA Money Kicks to visit Yorkshire fans at their newly opened luxurious Asian supermarket.

The social media star visited Abu Bakr’s latest custom-renovated 10,000 square-foot impressive flagship store on Kirkstall Road, Leeds.

Greeting eager customers, Money Kicks obliged to pictures with fans, and strolling up and down the isle looking for goodies to fill up his basket, said: “Feels like I’m shopping in Dubai!”

CEO of Abu Bakr Supermarket Sajid Hussain commented: “I decided to invite the social media star Rashed Belhasa as part of our strategy of doing something completely different for our loyal customer-base.

“Our state-of-the art Abu Bakr supermarket in Kirkstall Road took two-years to complete from concept, and has been hugely appreciated by our loyal customers as well as attracting a new following.”

Abu Bakr began with their first store at Hilltop Avenue, Leeds, in 1981. Now they are at the heart of the south Asian communities, and have became a household name, with sites in Roundhay Road, Queen’s Road, Dewsbury Road and this year’s addition in Kirkstall.

The supermarket prides itself on giving customers great offers, products which are unique, and of course service with a smile at no extra charge!
