Allerton Grange School in Leeds is celebrating improved Sixth Form results for the fourth year in a row.

The Department of Education Post 16 League Tables confirmed that Allerton Grange Sixth Form A Level and Vocational results have improved for the fourth consecutive year.


A level results in 2019 resulted in a progress score of +0.17 in the latest league tables.

For Applied Level 3 courses the school secured a progress score of +0.42 which is well above average.

There are 68 sixth form providers across Leeds. For A level progress Allerton Grange is ranked 9th and for Applied Level 3 courses Allerton Grange is ranked 1st.

Allerton Grange School with 1,445 students aged 11-18 years, has a smaller Sixth Form of 240 students, offering a nurturing environment with dedicated teachers to help post 16 learners to reach their full potential.

Whether they are studying A levels or choose a vocational course, students studying at Allerton Grange Sixth Form benefit from smaller class sizes, high quality teaching, a supportive environment with a range of enrichment opportunities and careers guidance.
