Deontay Wilder, world heavyweight boxing champion who also goes by the nicknames the ‘Bronze Bomber’ and the ‘Alabama Slammer’ popped into Prity’s Salon for some pampering before heading over to Batley for the opening of a restaurant.

Muhammad Amar Farooq aged 14, the son of the owner of Prity the award-winning beauty salon, is a big fan of Deontay Wilder and has just started amateur boxing at Purge Boxing Academy training under Muhammed Amin Patel. Amar recently won the Gold Medal beating the number one kid in GB.

Prity Farooq, skincare expert and owner of Prity Salon says she had already been working on the next new venture at the salon, one which was dedicated to men.

Driven by clientele request, Prity has created specialist skincare packages suitable for men, as of yet Prity’s Salon had only accommodated for women only.

So, when Prity Farooq heard that Deontay was coming to Mr T’s, she called the manager and the heavyweight champ kindly agreed to visit the salon, have a treatment and take on some essential skincare tips.

The ‘Wilder Facial’, named after the champion, has specially been created for active people with busy life schedules like Deontay, who was the first to come and try it.

“If you want your face to feel refreshed, then Prity Salon is the place.”

Prity would also like to assure her customers even though the salon will be accommodating services for men, it will bring no changes to the female services and the privacy that comes with the services. The mens area is separate to the females, including a separate salon entrance for men. The services for male customers will strictly be advance bookings only.
