A University of Bradford graduate who has demonstrated ‘remarkable entrepreneurship’ has been honoured by the Duke of York.

Noor Uddin, who graduated with a BA Hons in marketing in 2012, has received a Duke of York Young Entrepreneur Award after founding his company Atrium Financial last year.

The awards are open to student or graduate entrepreneurs in the north who, through their businesses, have had a real impact and have the potential for growth.

Noor (pictured) began his Bradford-based company to provide financial planning and advice for people from all walks of life. The business is on course to achieve its first year revenue target and is planning for future growth.

Noor said: “It is an absolute honour to receive such an award and be titled as a Young Entrepreneur of the year 2018. I feel privileged to be representing my family, friends, the University of Bradford and the City of Bradford on a national scale.

“We hope to continue working hard at Atrium Financial and achieve even greater heights. We hope our service can create a positive difference in our client’s lives and will always aim to continue exceeding their expectations.”
