Among the new generation of actors, there’s one quality that is very admirable - they don’t shy away from appreciating other actors in the industry.

Bollywood actor Kapoor poses for a picture as he arrives on the green carpet for IIFA Awards show in SingaporeArjun Kapoor has praised Ranbir Kapoor whole-heartedly for the kind of films he’s doing.
Said Arjun: “Ranbir Kapoor is a superstar.

“The choices that he has made have been bold and have paid off and he continues taking risks. ‘Bombay Velvet’ is going to be another risk for him.

“No actor can control the commerce of film beyond a point any which ways, but he’s always been very brave. He’s loved by everybody.”

He further added: “We, as actors look forward to seeing a Ranbir Kapoor film - because he does deliver, and if he’s doing a film it must be good or there must be something to it.

“You will never disregard a Ranbir Kapoor film. Even when he does a film in a special appearance, it has the burden of expectations. Therefore, in our generation, he is leaps and bounds ahead.

“He’s been here for a while and has made some very good choices. I think that is an example to learn.”
Arjun added that he doesn’t believe that the magnitude of superstars such as Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan can be recreated.

He said he thinks the definition of a “superstar” has changed.
