Raising Explorers, set up in 2012, is an Ofsted registered afterschool learning club with more than 120 pupils currently attending, aged between five and 15.
Setting the benchmark for other clubs, Raising Explorers is an industry leader with a team of dedicated teaching staff on hand to provide care for your child once the school day is over.
Ensuring their minds are kept stimulated, tuition is available for all pupils in core subjects such as Maths, English and Science, whilst lessons in religious studies, such as: Arabic Tajweed, Arabic Language and Islamic studies are also available from qualified and experienced teachers.
In their last three visits from the governing body for places of education in England – Ofsted – the club has performed admirably and was praised for meeting the needs of children’s development and wellbeing.
As the country’s first ‘learning afterschool club’ to be officially partnered to a University, following an agreement with Bradford University earlier this year, there has never been a better time for your child to receive that extra bit of educational support along with excellent childcare.
It was the University who actually approached Raising Explorers to set up the affiliation after hearing of the fantastic progress made since setting up less than two years ago.
The partnership has allowed Bradford’s top afterschool club to provide high quality teaching to 50 GCSE students with the aim of improving their grades by at least one level.
Tuition is available across a wide range of subjects, with homework and reading support provided for all Key Stages in a forward-thinking, interactive environment. Parents may also request specific individual subject support to ensure their child’s learning is tailored to their desire.
Nine classrooms are able to cater for your child’s every need, with an IT Suite and games room also included at the premises in the Carlisle Business Centre.
Children are constantly encouraged to build up their own confidence and play as a team with a wide range of themed activities, and extra-curricular lessons in arts and crafts, woodwork and much more giving them the opportunity to learn new skills. The students are taught to have good manners and etiquettes so they grow to be well grounded in every way.
Contact the club today and give your child the chance to excel in their education as they become the latest in the line of Raising Explorers.
