The cultural diversity of students at Bradford College was celebrated at an international fair.

On Tuesday 6th December, the Culture Show went off with a bang at the college’s David Hockney Building and saw students of various nationalities sharing their culture and heritage, whilst discussing their personal histories and back stories.

More than 20 countries were represented including Mexico, Kuwait, Kenya, Brazil, Panama and China with students showcasing food, dance and traditions from their home nations.

A college spokesperson said: “The aim of the event was to provide students and staff the chance to share their culture with stalls and activities demonstrating many of the different nationalities that make up Bradford College.

“Bradford College is a real international community and it was great to celebrate that diversity and vibrancy it brings to campus.

“Each culture had a stand that displayed their national colours, costumes, traditional cuisine and music.”
