Royal garden party invitation for Bradford legal eagle
A Bradford lawyer celebrated the summer in style last month as she was invited to attend a very royal garden party.
Ruby Bhatti, a highly successful consultant solicitor with 20 years experience in the legal field, was taken by surprise when an invitation arrived at her home from Buckingham Palace.
Being ever-humble about her community-cohesion work, Ruby, who holds an impressive 17 public sector and third sector appointments, said that she was taken aback when she realised what the envelope contained.
“I don’t why I got the invitation,” she said. “It was an incredible honour and I’m so proud that I could represent all the initiatives I support. It’s a day that I will treasure in my memory forever.”
The legal ace continues to astound friends and family with her ability to balance her professional work with her numerous voluntary roles and of course her own personal life, showing commitment in everything she does.
Over the past 18 years, she has gained experience in various non-executive directorships as well as being a chair of a number of primary schools and holding a position as a panel member for a number of organisations.
