All students will have the opportunity to join our active and successful Students’ Union which was winner of the NUS Awards 2013 ‘Further Education Students Union of the Year.’ Our Students’ Union provides support for clubs and societies, fun activities, volunteering opportunities and much more!

We offer courses in a wide range of subjects including: Access to Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Arts and Media, Beauty Therapy, Business, Computing, Construction, Education, Early Years, Engineering, English, Entry Pathways, ESOL, Film, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Catering, Mathematics, Public Services, Science, Sport and Travel and Tourism.

Our priority is to give you the edge when it comes to employment by offering you courses which meet the needs of local, regional and national employers. That is why you will enjoy guest speakers from industry, work placements, enrichment activities and support to plan your career.

Our professional careers advisers also offer guidance about progression, employment and further studies. Our University Centre – of which our degrees are validated by Teesside University also provides high quality university education that helps students to reach their potential and make a rewarding contribution to their community.

Dependant on your age and situation we have various sources of financial support to make studying that little bit easier, such as our Learner Support Fund Grants. If you are aged between 16 and 18, these grants provide a premium bursary and a standard bursary for those who need financial help (subject to meeting eligibility criteria).
