After months of preparation and planning, Bradford’s latest restaurant finally gave the city a sneak peak at what the future of dining looks like as Cona Restaurant opened its doors for an exclusive launch event.
An intimate evening, where friends and family came together to celebrate the official opening, was held earlier this week with guests treated to flavoursome samples from an ultra-chic menu in an ultra-chic environment.

Located in Little Germany, Cona brings modern European Halal cuisine to the city in a way that local residents may never have experienced before.

‘Simplicity’ is emphasised throughout. The understated décor provides the perfect environment for diners to enjoy an array of delectable dishes and experience flavours which will delight all palates.
Months of planning were put into the final menu to ensure only the best flavours and tastes are served up at Cona, many of which cannot be found anywhere else in the city.

With menus product-driven and changing with the seasons, you will be spoilt for choice when deciding upon your selection from the impressive dishes.

Head chef, Gavin Jackson, who has Michelin standard experience from his time at other eateries, is in charge of the kitchen and guarantees only the best meals are ever served up.

Why not begin with one of the delightful starters, ranging from Crab ravioli, samphire and leeks, to Cauliflower risotto with black truffle butter, before moving on to a main course.

Traditional and modern dishes are served up side-by-side, with their simplicity allowing the true flavours to be experienced.
A lunch menu is also available which includes hand-crafted sandwich favourites such as classic roast chicken club, whilst speciality options, such as the pulled lamb with harissa mayo and coleslaw sandwich, will satisfy any foodie.

Founded by Oman Rana and Armi, the restaurant looks to serve up only the best menu to local residents all within a relaxed environment.

“Here in Little Germany there is nothing else like Cona,” Armi explained. “More than 1,000 people live in this area and until now the tastes and flavours of modern European halal cuisine has been unavailable.
“Food has always been a big passion of mine so when Oman told me there was a chance to open here I could not refuse.”

Little Germany’s little secret is already gathering a lot of attention and with some of Bradford’s finest cuisine available at Cona Restaurant, head down today to experience ‘simplicity’ at its best.
