Perfect Asian Weddings Awards 2013
A glittering gala dinner event with a sensational catwalk honoured the outstanding services of some of the UK’s finest wedding service providers.
The Perfect Asian Wedding Awards in its debut year, hosted by Christa Ackroyd, gave national recognition to the winners, who had been voted for by the public and those who have used services of the short-listed companies.
The Aagrah Midpoint Suite, in Pudsey, saw guests dazzled by glitz and sophisticated glamour of a spectacular catwalk show by Bombay Stores showing their own stunning bridal couture collection and their international bridal exclusive designer pieces.
The breathtaking outfits were equally matched by a catwalk full of beautiful glamorous models adorning a stunning and imposing stage set.
Guest of Honour, Squadron Leader Deputy Lieutenant David Dinmore presented the awards to the lucky recipients.
A Special Recognition Award was presented to Maryam and Abdul Kader, founders of Bombay Stores for their services to Asian Fashion, setting up their business 47 years ago. Bombay Stores is now an International Brand in the world of Asian fashion.
A sumptuous banquet dinner to match the occasion, was provided by Aagrah.
