Over 9000 people turned out to visit Leicester's first Asian carnival over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
The event, which took place at the Parklands Leisure Centre in Oadby, from April 2-4, was filled with a mix of entertainment, fashion, and food, catering for all ages from toddlers and kids to youngsters and adults.

Household names like Navin Kundra, JazDhami, A G Dola, H Dhami, and Sham Desai were all performing over the three days, while the BBC Asian Network's very own Tomy Sandhu, Murtz and Jayna Shah hosted the stage.
Visitors also enjoyed the fashion show choreographed by Sarah-Jane Aboboto, and Magic Singh proved to be a big hit as he mesmerised the crowd with his magic tricks.
Organiser Sameer Samani said: "We've had really good feedback and the event was a success from every angle. The public are asking when the next carnival is and the exhibitors are happy with the profits they made."
The memorable Easter weekend began with the opening of the event by Leicester East MP Keith Vaz, Oadby and Wigston MP Edward Gariner, councillors' Kevin and Helen Loydall, Mayor and Mayoress of Oadby and Wigston, and CB Patel of Gujarat Samachar.
The carnival was hailed as a huge hit and enquiries have already started flowing in for next year.
