The book comes at a time when at least 500,000 job losses seem inevitable and employment levels in the UK continue to dip. James Caan draws on his own experiences to put the reader in the driving seat of their career.

After dropping out of school at 16, he started his first business in a Pall Mall broom cupboard, armed with little more than charm and his father’s advice.
