SURPRISE: 19-year-old Saif Ali Aurangzeb was left speechless after he discovered he’d won his dream car and £10,000 cash prize

A Bradford teenager got the surprise of his life when he discovered he had won a car competition, which he’d entered into online.

19-year-old Saif Ali Aurangzeb was left speechless as he  received the news that he’d won a brand new £40,000 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, thanks to super car competition company Best of the Best.

Saif was already stunned when the gaming company’s boss Will Hindmarch turned up at his grandmother’s house to surprise him with the new Mercedes-Benz. But he was left in a daze of amazement as he discovered that  there was an additional £10,000 cash prize hidden in the boot.

The 19-year-old could barely speak, uttering “you’re having a laugh”.

Saif, who studies at the University of Bradford and also helps out in the family food store, was entered into the competition to win the car after playing online at www.botb.com.

He said he had played the competition for about a year and always opted for the A45 AMG.

“I am over the moon,” said Saif. “I just loved the car from day one and I forgot about the cash. I cannot believe it – I am buzzing.”

Saif, who now gets to spec up his own choice of car, says he will be opting for a red model. He will also get a year’s insurance and servicing for free as part of the prize.

BOTB founder and Managing Director Will, who tries to personally surprise all the BOTB winners with their cars, said: “It is always lovely to give someone a car that they really want.

“Saif obviously loved this model so it is great that he wasn’t tempted to go with another car and won the one he really wanted.

“It’s such a great moment when they realise they have won. We are making people’s dreams come true. It is quite life-changing for some people.”

Best of the Best was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999. Since then the keys to more than £15m-worth of supercars have been handed over.

Half of all customers now play online at www.botb.com while others play at stands in Britain’s major airports and shopping centres.
