Shoppers visiting Leeds’ White Rose Shopping Centre will be able to indulge in a taste of the Orient as a new Wok&Go restaurant opened last week.

The new, 810 sq ft eatery will offer a selection of Asian-inspired wok tossed noodles, stir fries, curries, soups, vegetarian and rice dishes, plus healthier skinny noodles, all cooked fresh to order.

Wok&Go has invested £180,000 to create the new dining experience at the centre. Boasting mall seating for 35 customers and a restaurant capacity of 50, the restaurant has created 12 new jobs in the centre, comprising of seven full-time and five part-time positions.

Dean Stratton, centre manager at White Rose, said: “Securing Wok&Go in the centre is another great achievement for White Rose and we’re really excited to welcome the new restaurant.

“Wok&Go is renowned for its fresh, nutritious food and its unique dining experience, which I know will be very popular with our shoppers. The eatery will also add a new dimension to our current food and beverage offering, which includes Prezzo, Frankie & Benny’s, Nandos, Primo’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, McDonald’s, Subway, Spudulike, Bagel Nash, Costa Coffee, Juice and Coffee Creations.”

Wok&Go will be situated next to the main Upper Circle entrance, opposite the new Italian restaurant, Prezzo, which opened in November last year.
